Jaipur Zoo In Hindi Jaipur Zoo, built-in 1868 by King Sawai Pratap Singh, is spread over a vast area of 33 acres. The zoo is home to over 70 species of animals, birds and reptiles, making it one of the popular tourist destinations of Jaipur. This zoo is for all children and adults alike.
Where migratory birds and rare animals are kept in separate blocks. The Zoological Garden in Jaipur, Rajasthan state, was built by King Sawai Pratap in 1868 and was opened in 1877 which is located near the Ram Niwas garden. And in the year 1999, Gharial breeding farm was also established here which is the fourth largest breeding farm in India. A museum was also built inside the zoo which displays wildlife of Rajasthan. Jaipur Zoo is formed under the Wildlife (Protection) Act.
